| Field Work in Surrey
On April, the Coquitlam Japanese Academy students
visited the Japan Shiatsu Clinic (JSC) in Surrey for their
field work. In the beginning, JSC General Manager, Hikari
Ikenaga, explain
what shiatsu is, then all the students tried out shiatsu
massage.Students were all excited to show what they had learned at JSC
to their families. We hope those students that are born in Canada will
learn traditional Japan Shiatsu. We are glad that they now know the
occupation of the Shiatsu practitioner.

Gymnastic Society
The
2011 Carollenz Memorial Surrey Classic, the second biggest gymnastic
event in BC, organized by the Surrey Gymnastics Society (SGS)
was held at Guildford Recreation Centre on March 2011, and the Japan
Shiatsu Clinic has donated 1600 coupons for a free SHIATSU treatment to
all participants, audience members, and staff as a sponsor. We
were glad to have the opportunity to give back
to many local people who have been supporting our clinic since we
opened. We'll continue to do our best treatments with a feeling of
gratitude to each client, and are trying to spread Japanese traditional
hands on therapy "SHIATSU" in BC more.
