The
workshop of continuing professional education held on Dec 25th, 2009 was at the Yaletown clinic on Aze--Tsubo
(trigger points). Presentation was done by
Ikenaga-sensei. Key points of the lecture
were as follows:
1.
Addition to the Basic
Shiatsu Points, we need to detect any additional Aze Tsubo Pts.
2. Detection of active Aze Tsubo pts is
based on
the sensitivity of the thumbs and
fingers.
Ikenaga-sensei
notes that
these Aze Tsubo points are difficult to master, but are very important.
After
the lecture, the attendee's practiced shiatsu on the floor and on the
therapy-tables.
